About Upmost Lofts
We are a loft conversion and home extension specialist company with combined experience of well over half a century. With a team of trained specialists in all trades, we have worked on virtually every type of property typical to London and South Eastern England.
From early Victorian to new build homes, we understand the unique characteristics of each type of building and have a deserved reputation for sympathetic design and attention to detail.
Our Way Of Working
We aim to help our clients come to early informed decisions and will work with you to ensure that estimates are realistic from the outset. Starting with the basic layout of your loft, we’ll help you to understand the project time line so that you can make your decisions in a relaxed and timely manner.
We can nearly always work from scaffolding through your roof, minimising the disruption to your home life and keeping dust and debris to a minimum. At those times when it is necessary to work within the main part of your house, we are diligent in our approach to safety, tidiness and cleanliness.
A typical loft conversion takes between four and six weeks. Unlike many companies, we will work to install your new stairs as early on in the project as possible so that you have early and easy access to your new rooms and so gain an early impression of the developing space.Reduce your costs by being able to make the right decisions first time. Eg Velux. This helps you to make those important decisions about the location of partition walls, electrical points, lighting designs etc etc. It also means that you can see the day to day progress and fully understand how your loft has been built, how it’s insulated and how it’s going to work in the future.
We will take care of everything from ordering the very first skip, through dealing with the building regulations and inspections, right up to final sign off and handover.
Project management – dedicated contact person who will be responsible for all aspects of the build.
We will agree a payment schedule with you so that after an initial deposit is agreed, you only pay on a stage by stage process for work that has actually been completed, with the final instalment only due when you are happy to sign the project off as complete.
